I have the same problem. Red light when charging and no response. I think it happened because the battery went too low. I have now got a new battery but still only a red light (top left). This is usually a software issue on K series Sony Ericsson Handsets, try using the Sony Ericsson Update Service to Update or Re-Install the phones firmware...
Its available to download from the Sony Ericsson support site if you dont already have it

Remember though if your phone is unlocked, the unlock for these may have been a Flash Patch unlock so you might have to get it unlocked again afterwards...

In Sony Ericsson phones, red light flashing 3x or 5x times means battery problem. Plug the charger, what for 3 minutes then try to turn it on. If it still flashes, you may need to replace the battery.

Sir, you don't need to worry at all, because this is not any issue with your Cell-Phone, but with the Service Providers, All you need is to call your Service Providers and tell them your query.
They will check on their side, if there is some system error, regarding your connection.
