My blackberry storm phone's are from australia, i have inserted my new zealand sim cards and they will still not work over here, they just keep saying invalid sim.

It says Not valid Sim means Your Mobile may be locked to Network,You need to Unlock it to accept other GSM network Carriers....You can get the Unlock code here

There can be many ways to Unlock your phone.As far as i know unlocking by codes is the simple and safe way.You will need the unique MEP Code for your Blackberry and to get it you can use a website with service for Blackberry unlocking .so you can use a website to Unlock your Blackberry online instantly - OR local mobile shop .they are mostly using cables to unlock it and the price is higher then on unlocking websites but the result is the same: SIM free Blackberry.

Call your Service Provider and advise them of the problem. You need a new SIM card.

I fear you cannot do that, without an actual "Jail Broken" iPhone.and or a Telecom NZ suitable phone.

if it is unlocked then you can try it by inserting the sim in your handset. Please contact reliance customer care and ask them to activate blackberry services on your phone. If you are not able to use it then contact blackberry service center they will help regarding this.

It's have to be unlocked, Enter http://blackberrymep.com and follow instructions there, it's the best solution for unlocking your blackberry, it's easy, fast, cheap i have tried many other methods, but i found it the best.

Since you do not need it for using the phone in the US, and the SIM has not been activated for international use, you can remove it. The error message will not hinder the performance of the storm, but the message is rather annoying. It is located in the battery compartment, just below the battery and to the left of the memory card slot. You will need to remove the battery in order to remove the SIM card. Keep it in a safe place in case you ever need to activate the phone for international use.
