If it is 2 stroke, take petrol /fuel and mix it with preferably synthetic2 stroke oil.
Ratio is usually 10L petrol mixed with 200 ml or 2 stroke oil, that is the best result, used it on my chainsaw, strimmer, moped, working for years without a glitch.
Usually on a 2 cycle engine I will use 32-1 mix. Most engines will be fine if you get a name brand oil like Ryobi, Still, Echo, etc, with a pre-measure area made on top of the bottle. Follow instructions (usually 2.6 ounces per gallon.)
40:1 ratio is the norm, up to 50:1, you can get a 40:1 ratio mix by adding 2.5 cc of 2 stroke oil to 1 litre of petrol. Make sure you do not use car engine oil, it must be special 2 stroke oil which is what they sell for old lawn mowers and strimmers etc. If your exhuast is smoking then you put in too much oil so add more petrol...

This is a 2 stroke engine, so no dipstick.
You mix oil with the petrol (ratio 50:1) or 200ml of two stroke oil per litre of petrol,
and that's how the engine is lubricated.
