This is a very common issue with that model. There are filter capacitors on the power supply board that fail and keep the back light power section from starting up correctly so you get no picture on the screen. The FLX-1910 uses the same power supply board of the Polaroid TLA-01911, below is a link to information showing how to repair this power supply board.
The Element FLX-3711b TV is the same unit as several model of Polaroid and Visco TVs. They are all made by the same company just labeled fr different brands. The flashing power light is a very common problem and is caused by a failure of the power supply board. The capacitors on the board short out and this causes the board to not power up correctly. Here is a link to a repair guide for the Visco TV that is the same as the Element FLX-3711B so the information will be the same for both units. The repair guide shows the parts that will need to be replaced on the power supply board to rebuild it.
White screen only / no picture is a sure sign of a failure in the power supply board. Your TV is getting power to the back lights but the control board voltages are not getting through so it is not displaying the picture right. This is an easy repair to do, you will just need to replace the filter capacitors on the power supply board. This Element model is actually made by Funai and is the same as the Polaroid FLX-01911c TV. This sounds like the problem most LCD tv's get with swelled up
capacitors in the power supply board. look for circular cylinder shaped
parts rapped in plastic with writting on the sides, and metal tops, if
the top is rounded over, not flat, it is bad. replace them.
