The wifi on my psp wont work please help me - Sony ACY-BR81/OB

1. Turn the WLAN switch on the PSP to "on" (it's a silver slider switch on the lower left *edge* of the device)
2. Access to a wireless Internet network that doesn't have a password.
Then you should be able to 'scan' for networks, pick out the one you want to use, and go online.
[Note: While the PSP supports various wifi password schemes, notably WEP, I haven't had any luck with password-protected sites myself and haven't heard from others that it worked either]

is the wifi switch on on the psp

i had experienced that problem with my PSP at the same case,just set your internet connection again and delete all of you history,cache and some data in you iPOD.HOPE I HAD HELP

I think your volume button is broken because I had a similar problem with my psp My WiFi switch wont work when I had it checked the switch was detached from the command it was assigned to

HI there you have damaged the psp internally meaning the wifi switch might have screwed somthing up

did you turn on the wlan or did you turn on the modem

its a sony problem its just what it says when it cant pick up a connection, if you want to get rid of it then update your psp.

      Dylan,      I don't know who your ISP provider is, but I am using BT and had to change to a Belkin modem so that I could connect Archos 605 wifi and Palmone.  Had the same problems as you have, which have disappeared on installation of Belkin modem,

You got problems with your dns settings, try to delete all the old connection profiles, or restore default settings, and see if it works.
