Hi,
Restart the computer and when you see the Dell logo.Tap on the F2 key a couple of times. You would enter the system setup.

1. Use your down arrow key on the keyboard and select the option Drives
2. Hit enter to expand the same
3. using the down arrow key again select diskette drive
4. Tap the right arrow key to switch it off.

Save the same changes by tapping on the ESC key on the top left of the keyboard.

PS. In case you have a floppy drive on the computer check if the drive is empty.

You need to press f2 then go to Standard CMOS Features, then highlight drive A. Change it to none. You should not have anything in there enless you have floppy drive

Please follow the below stesp:

Enter the setup, and there will be a setting in there somewhere called "Halt On" and if you set that to "No Errors" the computer should boot fine.
This works with Dell computers.

U'r hard drive is not communicating with the system. Open the pc (power off) and check the cable connections. While U'r there, clean with blow or vac. U'r HD may have died. The data may still be there and got to with a new hd.
