What type of coaxial power connector is on the circult board to the Mag Innovision model LT 565 LCD monitor? I need to find a replacement part.

Most monitors use barrel type connector with 5.5mm outside diameter and either 2.1 or 2.5mm inside diameter. You can get both of them at Radio Shack. You do not want to use the 2.5mm if the center pin is 2.1mm it will not make good contact.

Hello,

There are several Mag monitors that use external AC adapters that plug into the VGA cable. Look on the blue connector and you should see the hole where the adapter plugs. The adapter is 12v 5 amp such as this one.

Display doesn't look right- tinted blue. brown and red things show up black. adjusting the controls doesn't change anything

Try new VGA cable, and aslo try it with other PC. Post back wat you find so we can guide you further.

Color is not correct

First I would check to see if there are bents pins in the connector. Secondly, this usually only happened with the old CRT monitors when they got moved near a location with high magnetic field.

If your monitor has speakers built in, then you need to run a lead from your soundcard on the computer to a audio port on the monitor. It is normally hidden away near where the video cables etc plug in under the back of the monitor.
