Have an older model Quasar TV, the screen is stuck in audio mode with the select language option, but when I use the old remote to try to fix it, nothing happens. I can select the stereo mode etc., but nothing else responds. I have a cable remote but when I try to use it all I get is that blue screen saying select language. If I try to change the cable channel the box trys to work but it goes back to time of day. Any suggestions?

Hi,, today i got the solution for the problem 'Tv Stuck On Language Screen" I have Skyworth Lcd and it was stuck on Language screen 4 days back, i've tried every sigle App and Different Universal Remotes and buttons on Tv but nothing was working except a single App named "SURE UNIVERSAL REMOTE FOR TV" i suggest if someone face this Language screen stucking problem and no buttons and remotes are working then you should download this App on your Cell phone and select your tv and you'll surely be able to restore your Tv.
The tv universal remotes are having very limited options in functions and tv universal remotes are only work correctly are like buttons power on/off volume up/down and channels up/down.Menu button and a Video setting option modes functions setting are another story all together. These two functions Menu button and Video setting modes funtions will not work correctly in any tv universal remotes.Because these Menu and Video setting modes are belong into the internal setting of the tv itself. It will only work correctly with the tv original remote only.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.
What you can do at home, is getting a replacement remote and using TV with a remote, or buying a freeview box, and watching and changing channels through the box.
that's the one of the closed caption options in the tv set. on your remote control there should be a button labeled "cctv", cycle through the options untill you find the off mode. this could also be in the tv menu.
Is there no buttons on the set to adjust the volume??? I've never seen a tv that didnt have at least under a door somewhere. Do you have an owners manual? You can get a universal remote to get this to work Good Luck!
