Do any body tell me how to enable the wireless button the keyboard or what is the way to turn it on as i have clicked it alot of time but nor it is showing me or asking for the driver nor it shows the light nor it shows the connection in network connection.
Is their any option to enable the wireless and also i am using Windows XP service pack 2
It sounds like you have not got drivers installed.
if youve recently reinstalled os or updated sp system often doesnt recognise wireless device , so have to install manually.
if you cant see icon in sys tray then no drivers are installed or device is disabled.check device manager to verify drivers installed.
if driver installed check if enabled.
if device has red cross its either disabled or has conflicts.
if you cant find it in device manager it isnt installed.
Please try to check the specification of your laptop again, have you installed a separate wireless network card on your laptop.

Wireless device is turned off or disabled

power to the wireless network and Bluetooth devices is controlled by a
switch or button on most computers. It is possible to accidentally bump
the button and turn off the wireless service.
On
most computers, there is an LED light that glows blue when the wireless
device is turned on and enabled, and glows orange when off or disabled.
Some newer models use different a different color scheme, see the user

To turn on and enable the wireless device, do the following:
and select Open Wireless Assistant
. Click Turn On
. The HP Wireless Assistant (enabled) icon 
will display.
