You will have to transfer your contacts one at a time. To export a contact's phone number to a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card in a BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:
Open the Address Book application from the BlackBerry smartphone Home screen.
Click the contact that you want to transfer to your SIM card.
Highlight the phone number you would like to transfer.
Display the menu on the BlackBerry smartphone.
Click Copy to SIM Phone Book.
Make sure that you are attempting to transfer the correct informaton to your SIM card.
Display the menu on the BlackBerry smartphone, and click Save.
In standby mode, press Menu and select Contacts and press up or down button to select "Copy" to copy names and phone numbers all at once or individually from the internal phone book to the SIM phone book, or vice versa.
If it is a CDMA phone, take it to the service provider and ask them to transfer it to their computer and put it on your USB flash drive or your new phone. If you are using a SIM card (GSM phone) you can transfer the numbers to the SIM card using the phone menu and place the SIM card in the other phone. With a SIM card reader, you can download the information to your computer.
have you tried going to the setup wizard. There under device setup just choose the Import Sim Card Contacts. Then it will run and you sim card contacts should be transfered to your phone.
The Nokia phone book format is totally incompatible with the Orion 901DS. What the Orion 901DS lacks in phone book capabilities, it more than makes up in terms of price (cheapest quadband GSM phone ever!), quadband, bluetooth, radio, handsfree loudspeaker, a sweet game, and dual standby SIMs. But I digress. Back to the issue of transferring phone books. The ONLY way is to copy all the data to your SIM Card in your Nokia phone, take out that SIM Card, and put it in your Orion 901DS. The Orion 901DS phonebook format is very restrictive. Once you have the data on the SIM Card, you can transfer it to the Orion 901DS's phone memory, and put in the remaining information that's allowed in the Orion 901DS. Hope this helps!
depends on the phone you are using to transfer from. On my sony, for example, i can go to my contact list options and send contacts via bluetooth to another device.
There should be a menu that when you put in a simcard, go to your address book and you can select each contact off the card, then select copy to phone.
when you put back in your new sim card you have the option to transfer your contacts to the sim card, although you will then have duplicate copies of contacts and you will need to delete the contacts off the phone if you wish to keep them on the sim card only.
The razr that i had could only store 4 numbers on the sim card, your phone book is stored on your phone's memory not your sim. I'm pretty sure that you cannot transfer your phone book over to your sim card.
