Hi, I have broken the screen on my samsung steel and can't make out anything. I have a new phone to use but want to copy my contacts from my broken phone to the sim card. can someone tell me what buttons I need to press to do this without reading any on screen instructions?

1. Download the latest version of the Samsung Pc studio and install it on your pc.
2. Insert memory card in your phone and in your mobile phone
3. Go to Menu, then Settings, then Phone settings.
4. After that scroll down to Pc connections and select "Mass storage" option. 5. Next connect the phone to your pc and then launch Samsung Pc Studio.
6. This time it will automatically recognize your samsung phone.
7. Open up Samsung Pc Studio and click on "transferring messages" or something and transfer all your messages to your pc.
That's it!!!! By using above instructions you can easily transfer or copy messages from Samsung GTE1282T to macbook.

if you have a cable wire of your cellphone it will be an advantage..connect your cellphone to the cpmputer or laptop,go the the my computer option the open your phone...try to copy the contacts manually..insert your sim card to another phone and save all the contacts you copied from the computer..since the screen of your cellphone is broken,its impossible for you to view your contacts...
Connect the Samsung to the Samsung PCStudio through a USB cable or Blue Tooth. Once you get 'Samsung --- connected' in the right bottom corner of PC Studio you can use the file manager to copy anything to anywhere.
Alternatively, you can configure the Samsung to be used as a mass storage and connect via the USB cable. In My Computer it will appear as an additional drive which can be used to copying files to and fro.
hi i hv a solution for u all jst download samsung kies in your pc then attach your samsung gts5233a to pc through data cable samsung kies will automatically detect it then download a fresh copy of (.jad and .jar)games for samsung then make a new folder and copy games in it then open .jad files it will automatically datect and install games on your samsung
