Olevia 227-S12 LCD TV - the picture has gone horribly wrong - it is dull and dim, hard to see shapes and impossible to read most text on it. When turned on, it says there is no signal, then it eventually comes on, goes away, comes back and then will stay on, but it never clears to a good picture at all. It USED to go clear for an hour or two all of a sudden but that has stopped. Is this something that can be fixed reasonably or should I start saving for a better tv?

Charge 3 dull display hard to read even when 100% charged

we have no idea what you are talking about in computer repairs

what PC, fails, or PC device, none stated, at all.

impossible answers or wrong await you.
dim screens, are cause by 2 things, or more.

if the battery is weak the OS detects that (no OS stated)
and dims the display on purpose. or a bad battery too.

or is turned down in brightness controls.
if a PC is older than 2010 , the CCLF lamps go dim (means bad)

Hi, My Olevia 42 inch, model342-B11, has a problem with its picture. At first I had vertical lines running down the screen, then it turned into small squares. What do you think is wrong with it?

Parts are hard or impossible to find for this brand but it sounds like the "main" board which processes all signal in and out of the display.

We lost the screw to mount the olevia 227-s11 65in.lcd tv on the wall and none of the screws would match that of the mounting bracket.where can we get the screws ?

you can get the screws in any hardware shop. just measure the dimension of the screw and mention it to the hardwareshop assistant.

Sound but no picture

Either your voltage is low or your panel is bad. You have to call a service shop in order to have them dissect the problem

TV tuner

Bill, did your tuner go out? I have had the same television for one year. We had a storm and our Buckeye cable went out. All the other tvs came back fine except for the room with the Olevia 232-S12. Everything works now except for the tuner. Cable came in and installed a converter box. Just wondered if you had the same problem (not the storm, but the tuner)
