Are you sure you replaced the right bulbs you may have replaced the high beam bulbs unless you have the type of bulb that has both high and low in one what make and model do you have

Try tightening it first clockwise just a little then undo it,sometimes you have to get a bit physical with these things! make sure the main switch/isolator is off,take out lamp,note type and replace.

Yes. It's an easy problem to fix. First, open the hood of your vehicle and look at the backside of the light you would like to replace. You can look at your owner's manual to find out the right kind of bulb you need or while look at the backside of the light, look at where the wires go in. All you have to do is turn the backside of the lightbulb holder clockwise or couterclockwise with a little pressure. Once doing that pull the bulb out by pushing in and turning one way or the other. The kind or bulb should be written on the light bulb itself or you can take the bulb to an auto parts store and for a couple of dollars they will pick the right bulb for you. I hope this helps. i had to take the whole cluster out and pullout hard on the rubber booth, the the bulb pulls out...its flat plug insertion kind.

I assume that you are talking about a 98 Explorer.
First you have to disconect the electrical connector in the rear of the bulb. It's kind of hard to get to because the battery and battery case are kind of in the way, but it can be done. You may need a small screwdriver to lift the tab up to release it.
Next you turn the retaining nut counterclockwise then pull the bulb out.
CAUTION! Do not touch the new bulb with your bare skin. You will leave an oil residue on the bulb causing it's life to be shorter. I use rubber gloves. Also be careful not to drop either bulb because they are under pressure.

Very rare for a xenon bulb to fail , check charger unit on headlamp , i would swop bulbs left to right first to check bulb , good luck kev

NOT SURE IF IT IS TRUE ON THIS KIND OF VEHICLE, BUT USUALLY WHEN CHANGING A BULB YOU NEED TO GO UNDER THE HOOD ON WHATEVER SIDE YOU ARE CHANGING...AND THERE WILL BE A KIND OF PLUG INTO THE BACK OF THE ACTUAL LIGHT FIXTURE, IF YOU GIVE IT LIKE A QUARTER TURN IT WILL PULL OUT YOU THEN CHANGE THE BULB AND PROCEED WITH PLUGGING BACK IN. MAYBE THIS WILL HELP!
