well it depends on your set up. If you have a TV box (like from dish or cable company) make sure all cables are connected correctly and tightly. (you may want to unplug them and replug them in just to be sure. also if you have a TV box then unplug that and replug in.
Tries tv unplug, replug it back like about an hour later. All ur tv setting will be resetting,tv should work in full screen again.Unplug, replug the cable box back like an hour too,if this tv it hook up to a cable box.
Hi there Try doing a system reset on the TV, by unplugging everything from it, then wait 3 minutes and plug the power lead in only. If it works, then plug everything back in one by one. If the problem persists it may be that the software has been corrupted in an update process, which can be performed at night via the aerial signal (this may be why it was turning on at night). In which case contact the TV manufacturer. Hope this helps TV_Doctor
Check ur power source?Yes,than unplug, replug tv about an hour later. The tv,will reset it self back to factory setting.Tv should work now,not than the power supply board is dead. That the board, where the power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
It appears that the power supply is starting to fail. It is also possible that there is another board in the set that is over-loading the supply.
The nature of the fault indicates the strong possibility that there are some parts that have become thermo sensitive. This is not a reset problem going by your description. Unplugging the set, is allowing the boards to cool down, and therefore they will work for a while until the thermo sensitive parts heat up again.
