Samsung SGH-D600 LCD screen replacement

The LCD panel and Touch screen panel were both have separate circuit connection. the covering panel of the LCD is the touch screen the inner is the LCD, replacing an LCD is quite just bit easy all you need a replacement LCD, you can purchased it online or via ebay. and you'll also need a dismantling guide and a very cheap opening tools.

yes the screen can be replaced and you can look up a replacement screen from ebay for example.

The screen has partial color in the manner you mentioned due to hundreds of small cracks in the LCD dissallowing the device to determine which part of the screen is any certain color. The LCD can be replaced for around $15 if you do the job yourself, and if your on this site im sure you will. the LCD will come with the 2 tools you will need to make the repair/swap. click here to purchase the LCD from a merchant that has always done me right.

you must take the back cover of and remove the six screws to access the lower portion of the phone. Once you've done this remove the qwerty keypad. When you slide the phone back down you should see the back of the slider and two additional screws. Good luck.

i have replaced my one on my d600. its easy if you are careful
1st - the screen surround actually does pop off - you will probably scratch it a bit gently lever it outwards it will then pop off all the way round
2nd gently lever off the screen
3rd replace with a new screen (i got mine off an amazon site for a couple of quid) you will need to put a slither of double sided tape all around the edge if it doesnt already come with
lastly put some new double sided tape around the surround and snap back on
the only thing is if you dont put tape all around you will find dust creeps in and you just need to re do ocassionally

You have to desmentle your phone then you clean up the flexi using isoprophyl alcohol clean the flexi together with flexi cleaper on the motherboard,avoied the ipa flowing dierect to the lcd. advice by dogy.

If the screen is still working the go to a Photo store- Jessops - they sell LCD Screen protectors. Like extra thick sellotape - cut it to size to fit the screen. Should keep you going - Don't think you can do more than that your self.
