Hi i have a LG 700E CRT monitor i am using this monitor for last 5 years but now i am facing a problem that red color in the monitor is not coming . please assist me regarding this.

The most likely cause is a broken red signal wire in the monitor cable. The next possibility is a bad connection at one end of the cable going to the CRT board inside the monitor. It could also be a thermal-fatigued solder connection in the red cathode driver circuit on the CRT board (this can often be found by visual inspection after removing the CRT board shield).

If you don't find one of those three problems, you'll need to use an oscilloscope to trace the signal from the input cable up to the red cathode terminal. (Caution - high voltage here!)

So, need the replace the display cable or display connector!

LG 700E monitor gives a blurr vision

open unit, adjust focus pot on flyback, may have 2 focus pots.
do both until satisfied.

If the problem varies with temperature (on time), then you may have a failing flyback.
