sometimes if you unplug it and hold the power button on and then off and then plug it back in sometimes will reset them. if not check to see if the buttons are stuck on. I had a copuble of the dell montors and they seemed to be no good so I use an acer montors and they seem to be better
Kindly check when the display cable is removed from the system and monitor powered on do you get any "Out of Sync Error". Then the monitor is fine and issue with the system or Display card. Check if your system boots and also unscrew the system and clean the Display card and re-insert. If its an on board card then just do a preventive maintenance of your system as it can happen due to loose connections also. Regards.

Its a webcam that has good quality video and one that I've used in the past. You'll notice the way its shaped that it will sit and conform to the natural shape of your monitor.
One reason that this is happening could be that it is on Power saving mode. This happens when the LCD monitor detecs an incorrect timing then thats the time that the LCD goes blank and the power botton starts to blink.
what you need to do is to turn the computer off. Unplug cables attach to the LCD make sure it is also off, once done press the power botton for a couple of 30secs to a minute and then release. After doing so re-connect all the cables and make sure that both ends is tight and secure once everything is ok turn the computer on same with the monitor to check if it solves the problem.
If you open the monitor up, on the inverter board is a 1000uF 16v capacitor that goes bad. If you replace that it should fix the problem. Look at the top of all the capacitors and you should see one that's popped up on the top, that would be the bad one. Some soldering is required. Make sure you put the negative white stripe on the white side of the silk screen on the board! Its a simple fix just sounds difficult.
