Office Enterprise 2007 Install Problem

When I try and install OE 2007 I get a message stating it cannot find a particular .cab file. When I direct the program to the location it will tell me its the wrong file. Please help. I received my copy through the home use program.

The .cab files have varied from the officelr to any of the .cab files from the other programs on the disk. Each time I tried to instal the.cab file it could not find would be different.

I am not an IT guy so any help in laymans terms would be appreciated.

I have tried making a copy of the disk and re-installing and saving the files to my hard drive and installing with no luck. I have no problems installing other programs so I don't know how my RAM would be faulty.

Try installing from a different installation copy (may change your cd-rom with a new-one). If the problem persists, your RAM may be faulty. Try to change it.

Uninstall this along with any previous version of office currently on your computer.
If you could be more specific on the .cab file, i may have some alternate suggestions too.

When i install ms office 2007 , after some installation there is a prob to proplus/ww some thing and instslation hangs . what can i do?

If you have a usable activation key for Office you can re-download the entire office 2007 package from C'Net.
For Office 2007 Enterprise: http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-Office-Enterprise-2007-Trial-Version/3000-18483_4-10742067.html
For Office 2007 Standard: http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-Office-Standard/3000-18483_4-10651636.html?tag=mncol;4
For Office 2007 Home and Student: http://download.cnet.com/Microsoft-Office-Home-amp-Student/3000-18483_4-10704798.html
Once you download and install there will be an option for activation using your existing activation key.
If this doesn't solve your problem you may be having other issues with Windows or your hardware which would require looking at the exact error within the Event Log (Eventvwr.exe) that will explain what part of the ProPlus.cab file couldn't be copied/installed.
Hope this helps!

I have a AOA150 Notebook i downloaded a ms office, but evrytime try to install it this message always appear. ms office enterprise 2007 encountered an error during set up, the service cannot update one or...

I'm assuming this is a windows vista or windows 7 operating system because they will ask you for administrator rights.
Go to where the installation file is.
Right click on the Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
Click Run As Administrator
Click Continue
This should give you permission to install the application.

I am trying to download Microsofe Office 2007 using a software and during teh installation progess I am prompted with a message "setup cannot fine enterprise.ww/enterww.cab broswe to a valid installation...

I'm assuming that you bought it legally. The source of the installer is corrupted. Either get it directly from another source
http://www.brothersoft.com/microsoft-office-60484.html
or just get rid of it and install and use Open Office

On Re-installing Office Enterprise 2007, message says that system cannot find ''Enterprise WW Enter WW cab.'' How do I get this file? I have tried installing whilst on the internet, but this was no use

The apprpriate files should actually be on the CD you are isntalling from, but may need to be manually located. Can you search the CD for that particular CAB file and manually point the dialog box to that path (the CD) when it claims it cannot find the relevant file?

Crc failed in Enterprise.ww\enterww.cab

Based on my experience there are many reasons that this issue may occur. I
suggest you try the following suggestions:

* Suggestion 1: Clear Temp folders
======================
1. Click Start>Programs>Accessories>Disk Cleanup
2. Clear your Temporary Internet files and temp files.
3. Restart the PC.
4. Copy your Office 2007 files and folders to a local folder.
5. Double click on the Setup.exe to start the install process.

* Suggestion 2: Check the Environment Variables
====================
I remember I have resolved some similar issues that the users report Office
2007 has failed to install. I have figured out this is caused by the wrong
configuration of the user variables. To check it, please follow the steps
below:

1. Right click on Computer, and choose Properties
2. In the Tasks list that appears on the left, click Advanced system
settings.
3. Click Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
4. Under User variables for user name, check if TEMP is configured as the
following value: "%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp"

* Suggestion 3: Install under Vista safe mode
======================
Please try to install Office 2007 under Vista safe mode:

1. Restart Windows.
2. At the boot sequence, long press F8 key to invoke startup menu.
3. Choose Safe Mode with network connection on the menu and press Enter.
4. After Windows starts in this mode, install Office 2007 again and see the
result.

Installation problem

It will try to reactivate once you install it. You will need to go through Windows Office and then you may have to call in for a code to complete the install.
