Well, i dont exactly forgotten it, cause just before i sleep, i remember pinning it and it works, and then this morning as i receive some text, i was supposed to open it but i can't. it says code error, but i was sure that that was my private password... but i remember that the day before yesterday, i change my cellphone by default setting but wasn't sure if it was the one that affects my password

Have you tried putting in 0000 or 1234

If you have forgotten the PIN, select the "I forgot". This will bring you to your secret question. Use the on-screen keyboard to answer it in the empty text box. Select the "ok" to finish.

If you can't remember either the PIN or the secret answer, then the Parental Controls will have to be reset. Call Nintendo's technical support at 1-800-255-3700 for assistance. Hope this helps.

I had for 2 years a nuvi 255w and its as working real good. Until one day i tried to open it up and it ask me a code pin. Witch i dont have. Ive been the only one owner on that GPS and never put any pin code on it and now just like that it want one... Grrrr that **** me off i cant use it anymore i dont have any acess anywhere exept that pin code of 4 number,. Is this possibility of update? I dont know I am the only one in that situation?

check the message centre no. that must be available in the text message setting...
check it, if it persists then u have to reset your phone or check it to the service provider... they will solve it, if the problem belongs to them.

after the pin select press am or fm. dont turn on with the power button, coz you have todo it again, and make sure yuo have to put the right pin, you have i think 4 times todo that until it locked.
