We bought a new VCR/CD and are having trouble getting the TV to work with it. When using the old unit, we ran one cable (the type used for hooking up cable TV) from the back of the VCR to the back of the TV and hooked into the antenna input. The new unit does not have any output from the VCR/CD that I can attach this cable onto. When I try to use other cable types listed in the VCR/CD instructions, the TV does not seem to recognize them. I've long since lost the remove and manual for the TV (with 5 kids, this is a chronic problem...) Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I am assuming that your TV has Video IN source selection.
You need to use the Video/Audio OUTput of the VCR/CD and connect them to the Video/Audio INput of the TV. To do this you would have to use a 3-wire shielded cable with male RCA connectors color yellow, red & white.
RCA male connectors, yellow is usually video, red/white is audio left/right.
as shown OUT of VCR/CD to IN of TV.
Pnce done, play the VCR/CD with a good known CD or tape and set TV to Video mode.
Hope this be of help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.
