I want to flash my verizon motorola phone to a cricket for free

I know this is an old question, but the only way to do it would be to switch ESN's with a current Cricket phone, and tampering with ESN's is illegal.

Depending on the carrier you want to go with? If the phone doesnt have a serial # tied to verizon you can change to US Cellular or Cricket or Alltell. Well Alltell is verizon now but you get the idea. The only part that might be a little tough is if you want the phones software to look like Cricket etc. Doable but kind of hard of you have never tried it

The reason is that cricket never made a V3m the only software that cricket actually provides is the V3c and it doesnt support the memory card. But if you want to use it on cricket you can flash it to the Generic DST file and upload the cricket settings to make it work on cricket.

This sounds like the phone was not fully flased before it was disconected! reflash
