Hi, i have just lost all my tv programes on my panasonic dmr-ez27. have repeatedly tried to re install the settings- to no avail. what am i doing wrong? bearing in mind i am an idiot with technology.

Question (s): The remote control for my DVD recorder has stopped working. Every time I press a button, the display says "CHK REMOTE 1", "RC1" or "SET1". What is wrong? Answer/Comments: Your DVD recorder remote control can be programmed (with different codes), so it can be used with multiple Panasonic DVD players. When you press a button and the display shows [CHK REMOTE #] or [RC#] or [SET#] it means that the DVD recorder and the remote control are not set to the same code.To set the remote control code to that of the DVD recorder, press and hold [ENTER] as well as the corresponding code number on the display (1, 2 or 3) at the same time for more than 2 seconds.

There's a newer firmware version (1.13), that's available from Panasonic rather than by download. Check out this forum thread

I have the panasonic DMR EZ 28 for 4 months. I have beendownloading home videos from my camcorder through the IN 2 port without difficulty until yesterday; Now, when I attach my camcorder through the IN 2 port, I can hear the video, BUT not see by video on the TV monitor; I reconnected the camcorder through the IN 1 port in the back of the DMR and it works, but it's a pain to be working in the back of the machine. Why aren't I seeing the video (but hearing it) when connecting to the IN2. Faulty connection??? Did I program something wrong???

DMR-EZ27, DMR-EZ47, DMR-EX77, DMR-EX87

This is scheduled to be broadcast on 6-2-08.
