When I plug in the power/standby displays red - the lamp input flashes red and temp flashes red but projector/lamp does not operate, whats the problem?

In attempts to get your IN15 projector working, please try the steps below.

Disconnect AC power from the projector and wait for 10 seconds for supply to properly discharge.

While holding down the Menu, Select and Input buttons simultaneously, plug in the main AC power until

the LEDS stop flashing (approximately 7 seconds)

1. Turn-off the projector by pressing the "ON/STANDBY" and unplug the power cord.
2. In the meantime, hold down buttons "ON/STANDBY", "MENU" and "INPUT and plug-in the power cord .
3. The lamp operation counter will automatically turn to zero.
4. Check if the lettering "0H" appears on the lamp operation counter in the status display.

To reset the lamp hour of Toshiba TLP791, do the following.
1. Turn-off the device by pressing the "ON/STANDBY" and unplug the power cord.

2. In the meantime, hold down buttons "ON/STANDBY", "MENU" and "INPUT and plug-in the power cord .

3. The lamp operation counter will automatically turn to zero.

4. Check if the lettering "0H" appears on the lamp operation counter in the status display.

5. After the lamp operation counter has turned to zero, turn off the projector by pressing "ON/STANDBY" and unplug the device.
The lamp reset procedure is over.

I also problemma which has strobing - standby/on, temp and lamp lights.This happens as soon as it is plugged into power.

reset ur lamp timer through the following procedure

Reset the LAMP COUNTER HOURS:

1. Turn off the projector and unplug the power cord.
2. Press and hold down the three buttons at a time (ON/STANDBY) (MENU) and (INPUT) and plug in power cord.
3.The lamp hours counter will automatically turn to zero
4. Now you press POWER BUTTON and after warm up you check lamp operation counter in the STATUS display it should be "0"

I have not actually tried this but on a different post, here's the wild solution:

Reset the lamp counter hours of operation for the projector TOSHIBA TLP-T720

1. Turn-off the device by pressing the "ON/STANDBY" and unplug the power cord

2. In the meantime, hold down buttons "ON/STANDBY", "MENU" and "INPUT and plug-in the power cord

3. The lamp operation counter will automatically turn to zero

4. Check if the lettering "0H" appears on the lamp operation counter in the status display

5. After the lamp operation counter has turned to zero, turn off the projector by pressing "ON/STANDBY" and unplug the device.

it wasn't able to go through cooldown mode. turn it on, power down and let it go through cooldown. does the light come on at all?

you need to reset the lamp timer, usually done by holding some buttons while turning on

Be sure to check the filters and make sure you have good airflow thru the proj. Cleaning filters solved our temp shutdown problem.
