Phone says limited service

it might be locked on to some network. get it unlocked from a mobile shop

3.check poweric

Perhaps it's for the flight mode? Try resetting that part out.

Firstly, Install Samsung PC Studio to your PC. Secondly, connect the phone to the PC thru a USB cable. Thirdly, PC Studio will automatically connect to the phone. Once connected Fourthly, click on Manage Internet connections. Fifthly, follow the boxes that open and when done click OK. Sixthly, an icon will be made on the desktop. seventhly click on this icon and select Connect. You would be connected to the internet. next time when you boot up, this will on its own connect you to the net if you have selected auto connect on the connection box. I hope you have GPRS activated on your phone number. That your service provider will do. Ask their helpline. Happy Surfing.

go into your band on the phone and put it to manual and set the band for the phone.

I had the same problem so I went into Menu-Settings-Network Services-Band Selection. It should then give you the option to select two different types of GSM Bands or Quad Band. I found that Quad Band works for me, but the GSM 850/1900 worked as well. Hope this helps!
