its the cooling fan to keep the control and metal and top of cooker cool. mine is also extremely loud. I think it basically turns unecessarily quickly and could be slowed with a resistor in line
I have a Tecnik Range cooke that was in the house when i bought it. The secong oven has no cover for the heating element at the top so everything I put in browns at the top. Should this oven have a metal plate underneath so that I can use it as a conventional oven or should it be like that
