Cant get the back cover off my brand new Nokia 6700

1. Obtain the lock code for your Nokia 6700. You can purchase the lock code from a cellular unlocking service or get it from your cellular carrier. Some carriers have criteria your account must meet in order to give you the code, such as the account being active for a certain length of time.
2. Turn off the phone and remove the battery cover. Press the battery release button on the bottom edge of the phone, remove the back cover and lift the battery from the top. Set the battery and battery cover aside.
3. Slide the SIM card bracket toward the left edge of the phone, lift the bracket and remove the SIM. Close the bracket and reinstall the battery and battery cover.
4. Power the phone on with no SIM card. The phone will show a message stating no SIM is installed.
5. Type "#PW+LOCK+1#" with your lock code replacing LOCK. For example, if your code is 1234568, type "#PW+12345678+1#" on the keypad. Press the "*" key quickly three times for P, four times for W, and twice for +. For Fido or Rogers Canada, use "7" instead of "1."
6. Wait for the phone to show "SIM Restriction Off" and reboot. You can now use the Surge with any SIM card.

move the apps tht are saved on ur memory card to ur phone memory

Hello Biff, here's how to open and put in a new SIM card with your Nokia 3410.
Press the release button (1), slide the cover (2), and lift it off the phone (3). Push the two catches in opposite directions (4), and lift the battery out of the phone (5).

Slide the SIM card carefully into the card slot (6). Make sure that the golden connectors on the card are the bevelled corner is on facing downwards and that the left.


Re-insert the battery and close the back cover.

To remove the back cover of Nokia 6700 slide, open the micro USB connector cover, press the release button, and then lift the back cover off.

just open the back of ur 6700 c pull the battery, memory card and sim!
now there you will see a unique code beneath the batary very right on the sticker of
IMEI and very next to the CE logo!
now just tap this unique code with the battery edge for about 20 times!
now put the memory card and sim card and battery back n enjoy Bluetooth working....

in order for you to use it with a different sim card (carrier) you must buy an unlock code, You can usually find one on ebay, just type on the search box: nokia 6700 unlock code

Push the back cover downward (towards the bottom), it'll open up..

The SIM card and its contacts can be easily damaged by scratches or bending, so be careful when handling, inserting, or removing the card.
remove the back cover, remove the battery. then pull the sim card out
