How do I reprogram my remote starter? Due to systems having varying instructions for programming you have to have your model number to find the instructions for your specific model. Locate your Model number and search the FAQ's by that number. The owners manual in the FAQ's for your specific model will have the instructions for reprogramming.

Typically a car remote does not have to be reprogrammed to replace the battery. Check the car's owners manual to verify the battery is a CR1229. I don't know of any 1229 number but I do know a CR1220. Verify the number and you can buy them at just about any store...from Walmart on.

Try reprogramming the remotes: Turn ignition on, press and release programming/Valet button on antenna three times. You should here a short chirp, press the lock button on one remote. You should here a long chirp. Press the lock button on the other remote, you should here a long chirp. Turn ignition off. Test system.

Check the hood pin switch. It's located under the hood around the edge of the engine compartment. It's designed to make contact with the hood when the hood is closed. Also, check for a remote start shutdown toggle switch under the dash.

have to reprogram remotes.......see programming remotesi posted is for aps921 and aps901n that remote is the A1BTX

if thats the picture of the transmitter to program it you have to : turn the ignition to on position. press and release the programming switch 3 times... press and hold,for 3 seconds, the buttonof the transu wish to add until the parking lights flash. this would mean the transmitter has been learned. repeat step 3 for each transmitter... turn the ignition off to exit the program mode..
do not let 15 seconds pass between steps.

I'm not sure about trunk but to start the engine press twice green buttun and engine should start and to shutt it off press green button once.

put your key in the ignition, then remote start it, if it starts, you need to either move the transponder loop of key or reprogram the transponder or take it to a remote starter shop

REPROGRAM REMOTES BY FINDING THE VALET SWITCH AND
TURN KEY TO ON
PRESS VALET SWITCH 3 TIMES
PRESS BUTTON ON REMOTE
PARKING LIGHTS WILL BLINK ONCE TO CONFIRM
TURN KEY OFF
DONT LET MORE THEN 5 SEC PASS BETWEEN STEPS

have a prestige APS2K4SAW remote and it just quit working, I need help please????
