My Nokia 6500c battery is on empty. i've tried to use my USB wall charger and the USB data cable to charge it but it won't take a charge. The phone is only about six months old. I can power it up for a few seconds then it says battery empty and switches off again.
Are you sure that the charger you are using is good & working?if you are sure that it is working,what is the response of the celphone display when you take a charge,doest it appear not charging?or no response at all?..if it doesnt respond and your charger is working,then the problem is on your celphone charging regulator.But,when it is responding when you take a charge but it does not store too much in your batery,then the problem is 100% on your batery,and you need to replace it for a new one.

not entirely sure what you mean. the phone is off, but the screen does flicker when the charger is connected sugegsting power is going into the phone. i will try a new battery anyway and see if this is the cuase of the problem.
