The message centre ensures that your text message is sent to the recipient. If the wrong message centre number is saved in your phone, the text message can't be sent.
Set up your phone for text messaging
Find "Text messages"
Press the message icon.
Press the menu icon.
Press Settings.
Press Text messages. Save the message centre number
Press Message centre.
Key in +35387699989 and press OK. Return to the home screen
Press the Home key to return to the home screen.

That is the way text messages operate. They are broken down into 160 character blocks and sent separately.
I recommend using a different messaging solution on your phone like Text Plus, Yahoo Messenger, or AOL Instant Messenger. All of these allow longer messages (although not inifite length.)
You'll have to call your service provider. The SIM card stores a phone number for the network's text message center. For some reason, this phone has a glitch where it deletes the center number. Your service provider might be able to update it remotely but I had to take the SIM out and place it in an older phone so I could enter the text message center number manually. This fixed the problem.
I have the phone and have had the same problem. I found I have to add the "1" before the area code to all the saved contacts or at least the ones you use most and that should fix it... when the text message is received it has the "1" normally we don't save the number that way...
you need to format your phone so that you can receive messages again...input this code *#7370# and then click yes...enter your security code...after that your phone will reboot...it will automatically on..so please wait until the phone open..after that enjoy texting again..hope this will help you
