My Acer laptop wont boot up on both normal and safe modes after installing Genius F610 pen. It seems to be in a continuous loop trying to boot up. Please help. Thanks.
You need to run a nifty little program called Spinrite on your laptop. You can download it via BitTorrent HERE
you will need to use a program to burn the ISO image onto disk and make it bootable. I use PowerISO . It is very easy and straight forward. You can download it HERE (use the name: Dr.Upload
serial: SKSIP-7AIX1-8YWEZ-U197K-T88IE ) to remove restrictions.
Open the iso file using PowerISO. Now we have to make it a bootable disk image. Spinrite comes with FREEDOS instaled, but most laptops don't like using it.
Follow directions here on making a bootable image.
after burning your disk boot your system up with the cd. when you get to a prompt , ie C:\\ you will need to change it to your default cd drive mine is E:
after changing the drive letter type SPINRITE
the program will start - follow onscreen directions and change scan level to 5. after program finishes reboot after removing disk.
