Not getting a signal with our RS 130. Put in new

Not getting a signal with our RS 130. Put in new batteries, fully charged, and did a reset by unplugging from electricity and removing the batteries. There is only a red light showing on the base. When I unplug from my receiver and plug back in the green, red and yellow lights come on but fade away. I get 6 short beeps which in the manuals means no audio signal. Has the transmitter failed??

SOURCE: No sound from RS130 headphones

I'm having the same problem with the RS140. Only a few weeks old, and no sound at all coming out (not even the beeps). Have replaced batteries and tried a different audio source. Base station lights are on and indicating it is receiving an audio signal, but nothing is going go the headphones.

It doesn't seem to keep the charge. does that mean I need a new charger or a new headset?

Sounds like the battery is not holding its charge.......you can rejuvenate the battery by fully charging and then fully draining til it goes off either by leaving on or using! Doing this a few times will allow the battery to fully charge and hold the charge better!

The SX 130 is camera is brand new. With fresh batteries (NIMH 1,2 v) the battery warning light activates after just a couple of minutes of going through the on sceen camera menus. I checked the batteries...

there is a fault n the battery compartment. There is nothing to do with the settings. No such options.
Clean your battery compartment with a cotton swab and then try. Else take it back to a service center with your warranty card.

I have HDR65/RS65 Sennheiser wireless headphones. I disconnected them to move stuff around, then re-connected them. Now all I get is a 2 second cycle consisting of: 1 second of static that builds in...

Try connecting them to an MP3 player or connect wired headphones to the same source to make sure the sound source is working correctly. If that works, verify the voltage on the batteries is 2.4 volts after charging. Mine stopped charging fully and the headphones wouldn't work at all, but when I connected a couple of AAA batteries to it in series, it worked great.

I ran my battery down and recharged it but the car still won't start and won't go into park...how do I reboot the computer, I was told that might be the problem.

remove the battery and put a fully charged new battery in there. The battery must be charged to allow the car to resent the pc. Removing the battery and then reinstalling a new one - fully charged will reset the pc as removing the negative side of the battery is what causes the car computer to reset.

You must have a good battery - push the brake and also shift into part. Otherwise - attempt to start it in neutral. Look for blockage in the shifter housing - pens - pencils and or coins can keep you out of park.

What should be the percentage of the battery when its fully charged on an aprilia 125 rs

If the system is 12 volt, which I think it is, a new battery should read 13+ volts fully charged. Note! You can have 12 volts, but low amps. You need to ideally charge the battery and put a load tester on it to know the truth about the condition of the battery. Chaz Moto DC

No power with a brand new battery, not even ignition lights

Did you check your brand new battery? Fully charged? Hydro was good? You are connected properly ( + = + and - = - ) Do a volt check yourselg between + and - (frame)

If yes to all, Id be looking at the ignition switch.

GPS signal not sufficient on iPhone 3G

Had the same problem with Navigon for the iPhone. I found a simple quick fix:

1. Go to your iPhone Settings
2. Press the General tab
3. Scroll to the bottom and press the Reset tab
4. Press the Reset Network Settings tab

This may take a short time, then after it's done, reboot your device (if it doesn't on its own).
You should now have a good GPS signal!

Nokia n81 running a new battery down in 6-8 hours on standby mode

Even if the battery is new, if it is not charged properly it can run down pretty fast. To reset the battery I recommend running the battery all the way down - charging the battery all the way back up to full - and then repeat. Also, make sure you do not charge the battery after it is full. Most phones or charge units have signals to tell you when the battery is fully charged. Do not charge the battery overnight.
These are the best ways to protect the life of a battery.
