Connect the supplied USB cable and then plug it into a powered up computer's USB port. OR Connect the MP3 player and USB cable into a 5 volt mains adapter that has a USB connector.
Solution, I took a pin and pushed the reset botton next to the jack port. It shut down the player, then I put the power back on and it has been working ever since.....
Go to the website of what you need to reload and if they have a search tab type in "Driver" or "Install files" They might have them available for download. Then just run the .exe file.
I had the same issue. I took it to a friend of mine who is good with
computers hoping he might be able to fix it........and he
did....apparently the HOLD button was slid to the right locking all
functions...once he slid it to the left closest to the power button, it
worked fine. Imagine my embarrassment...I hope this is all that is
wrong with yours as well
