The first thing you want to do is uninstall any audio driver software you currently have installed. Do so by opening windows control panel. Than open Add/Remove programs. Once completed restart your system. As your system boots enter the bios menu by pressing F2 every 2 seconds. Go to the Advanced menu. See page 55 in your manual for Audio settings. Set to [Enabled] Save & exit. System will auto restart.

Create a folder on your desk top & name the folder Audio. Download the driver, AUD_ALLOS_5.10.0.6020_PV_RealtekAC97.exe into your Audio folder. Open the Audio folder. Right click once one the *.exe file, from the pop-up menu left click on extract here. The AC97 driver files will uncompress within the Audio folder. Do not run the setup.exe file. Open windows device manager. Right click once on My Computer, from the pop-up window left click, Properties. Left click the Hardware tab than left click the device manger button. From the icons listed in device manager there should be something like an explanation point, or unknown PCI device. Right click once on it & a pop-up window will open. Than left click once on update driver.
Windows hardware wizard will open. Click No, not at this time. Than click the next button. Another window will open. Left click once in the circle next to, Install from a list or specific location (Advanced). Than click the next button. Again, another window will open. We want to remove the green check mark next to, Search removable media (floppy, CD-ROM...). Left click on the green check mark once & it will go away.
Click the browse button, click the + sign next to my computer. Find the “Audio” folder on your desktop. Left click the Audio folder once so it is highlighted. Than click OK.
Windows will search within the folder & install the correct driver software for you. Restart your system when finished. If you want to setup a microphone open windows control panel. Than open Sound and audio devices.
Cheers!
