Sparking of EHT transformer is an irreparable fault. The only remedy is to replace the EHT transformer with same type and number. never switch ON your Tv in this condition anymore. It will damage other components nearby the EHT transofrmer. Replace it without any delay. Now, all the sections are working, and if you continue to research with, the condition will go worse and costly. OK.

Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.
NB: Switch OFF and switch ON your TV each time with its front panel power control switch [NOT BY REMOTE CONTROL HANDSET], and wait for at about 30 seconds, between switch OFF and switch ON, before trying an other code.

unplug it from the mains, plug the aerial into the hole which says RF in, then assuming its a Scart type, plug the Scart lead into the TV Scart socket on the freeview box, then the other end into the TV FULL scart if you have two, plug it in and switch it on, may need re-tuning due to the channel 5 fiasco.
Menu button settings, or setup, or installation, if you see a "First Time Setup" use that, as it will wipe all previous installed channels and give you the latest channel config. , then usually its a case of save and exit or sometimes just exit by pressing the menu button again.
replaceing parts will not solve your problem.
you will have to go as per procedure.

I have small TV called Konka for my small kid.This TV was bought in 2000.My problem is that kids have damaged the remote control of this TV now to operate it I need Unversal Remote control. Konka tv is never found on any of the manual of unversal remote control lists.
So, is it possible to get CODES for that Tv.
