I have a grey line on the far left of the screen my left as I am looking at the screen of my Panasonic Viera TH49EX600. It is about 2 inches wide. It covers the content underneath.

It is wall mounted on a moveable stand. Could it be damaged from moving it on its stand on the wall? Can it be easily fixed?

There is a vertical black bar along the left side of my TV. It started as a thin yellow/white bar and has grown to be about 2 or 3 inches wide, blocking that portion of the screen.

The LCD wafer has gone bad, and more lines will begin to appear over time. It can be replaced but the cost may be comparable to replacing the entire television.

Either LCD transistor got moist or the video chipset got condensation. Keep TV on standby to dry it out. Unless there is also mechanical damage to the lcd screen on the edge..

It is either the plasma panel itself or a connection problem, either way it will need to get serviced. Suggest you find receipt and phone Panasonic.
