Bionaire is really a lousy brand. The tank is easily broken, and they don't sell replacement parts ANYWHERE! So, you have to buy a new machine. Will never buy this brand again.

Are you asking for donations to buy a new one? Call the factory, most likely you will need to send it in for repair.

i just ordered a replacement cap for the w-12 it has a funnel on the end the one i have don't but the man said it will do the same thing. the funnel is for pouring the water in. the website is appliancefactoryparts.com it cost around 28.00 thats including the shipping and handling of 7.99

here is the website for the manual to look at how the filters go in.

turn the unit off then take the tank off then the base which is the fan portion and the filter fits right there.. if it's a round filter then it slips right on. now if it's the squares they will slip into some slots and usually they will take about 4 if that's the case. if you have any other question please feel free to let me know.

Filter part number is BCM100. Filters are sold at Sears. Also available online. Part number is listed on bottom of humidifier.
