Why do websites start to load and then just turn to white background. It happens on chrome, on mozilla. What should I do?

Normally the plugins for the website fail to load , so the webpage halts without any content. Simple workaround is restart chrome or reload page.

Google chrome wont open

Hi
1. Restart your computer, try again. 2. If you still can't open it, then you have a problem either with your chrome browser or your computer. 3. If you have another web browser on your computer, install google chrome again. That might fix your issue. 4. See if you can open any other web browser, if you can't then you have a bigger issue with your computer. If you can, then you know the problem is located with google chorme.
Thanks,

When I open Google Chrome it says this : This web page is not available The web page at http://www.google.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. Here are...

Open your start menu.
On windows 7 type cmd in the search bar and run it.
On XP and Vista, click run and type cmd and press enter.
In the prompt that enters type ipconfig /dnsflush.
Restart your computer.

If you are using another operating system, follow the directions here to flush your dns cache. Then restart your computer. http://www.techiecorner.com/35/how-to-flush-dns-cache-in-linux-windows-mac/

Google Chrome basically wont work.

You need to make sure you've fully downloaded it.
Just to make sure here's the link where I recently downloaded it from - http://www.google.com/chrome
Download it after you've done that restart your computer. Just to be sure it's fully downloaded. Once you've restarted your computer and logged back in.....
  1. Simply click on "start"
  2. Then click on "Control Panel"
  3. Once your on control panel go onto "network and internet"
  4. Then click on "internet options"
  5. Then on the tab named "programs"
  6. Then on the internet programs section at the bottom click "set programs"
  7. A new window should open called "default programs"
  8. Click on the top option "set your default programs" (It should take a while to load)
  9. Click on "Google Chrome" If it appears. If it doesn't appear don't worry. It'll still be the same.
  10. Open your "google chrome" browser up. (even if it doesn't work(but make sure your laptop or computer is connected to the internet))
  11. Click on the tools option on the page which is the spanner icon at the top right of the page.
  12. Click on options (eleventh option down)
  13. At the bottom of the Google Chrome Options page they should be a buttom saying "Make google chrome my default browser" Click on that.
  14. Keep on that page click on the tab called "under the bonnet"
  15. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, make sure the bottom options on "check for sever certificate revocation"

It then should work
Hope I helped Dr Reed

SearchSource=10&ctid=CT2269050 Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error. wat to do????

Webpage display issues: "This webpage is not available" (Network errors 2, 102, 104, and 105) Issue This message displays when Google Chrome is unable to find and load the requested web page.
Solutions Check your web address and Internet connection Double-check the URL in the address bar to make sure you're going to the right web address. If you've confirmed that you're going to the right web address, check whether you can open the same web page in another browser, such as Internet Explorer or Firefox. If you can't see the web page in any browser, the web page may be temporarily down. You should also make sure you're properly connected to the Internet.
Check the error you're receiving If you can load the web page using another browser, but not Google Chrome, check the exact error you're getting by clicking the More information on this error link on the page. The rest of the solutions listed in this article are relevant if you're experiencing any of the following errors:
  • Error 2 (net::ERR_FAILED): Unknown error
  • Error 104 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_FAILED)
  • Error 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED)
  • Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED):
  • Unknown error
To disable the proxy run this from the command line or modify your shortcut to run chrome:

"C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --proxy-server
See here: http://tiny.cc/A2tST

Encountering this problem following your first restart after installing Privoxy (which requires changing G-Chrome's proxy settings).
If, after installing Privoxy, you elected not to have it load on system startup, manually re-loaded Privoxy. Simply reconfigure Privoxy to load on startup and the problem should be corrected.

Some webpages are not opening on google chrome

Solution is very simple. Go to Google Chrome Settings >> Options >> Under The Hood >> uncheck "Enable phishing and malware protection". This problem occurs due to clash between Chrome and your Internet Security software installed in your computer like Kaspersky IS, etc.

Does not finish loading data

I would start investigating from the browser. Which browser do you use? Internet Explorer?
Go ahead and download Google Chrome (a light weight browser) from http://www.google.com/chrome, then install it and give it a try. If that solves it, that means your problem was due to the browser. You can either keep using Chrome, or download the latest version of Internet Explorer and re install it.
Good luck!
