SOURCE: Charger not recognized

Folks.
The issue with most of the Dell charger issues rekated to a new charger not being able to charge the battery is the fact that Dell has a screwy proprietary circuit design in their laptops and chargers.
It seems that the Dell laptops are designed so
only Dell chargers will work. While other
brands of chargers will power the laptop when plugged in,
they will not charge the battery.
They do this so they have a monopoly on their chargers and thus can charge a frickin' fortune for their, Dell chargers.
Want them to change this? don't buy Dell products for a while. If enough people ban them, they would change this **** overnight!

I found a replacement battery at interstatebatteries.com. Search for DMU6-3, you'll find 6v 3ah SLA 187/250 Faston for $10.00.

SOURCE: Coleman rechargeable lantern: Charged overnight -

Check the battery with a volt meter to make sure you have the correct voltage. If not, replace battery. If correct voltage, bypass switch to determine if it is good or not. If not, replace. There really isn't much to go wrong on the lanterns except the bulb or battery.

Issue with Coleman 4345 rechargeable lamp.

It sounds like the internal battery is faulty. Have you tested the time the light will stay on at low setting against what the advertising says 66 hours? The Cree Light module has a current sensor in it and will cut off when there isn't enough current.

Coleman Lantern TV #D269 appears to be DOA

If it doesn't work with batteries, and the correct power cord is being used, then it's fried. Try wiggling the lantern end of the plug slowly, to put it in a bind at each end. As long As it's turned on, you should see some sign of life if it's not fried. The plug shouldn't move much, but if it moves, the solder points inside of the lantern to the circuit board could be broken off. If none of that works, it's fried.

I am trying to find battery location for Coleman Model 5327A750

William, went to Coleman site, looks like you remove screws on bottom of lantern to access and change battery.
Check the attached links to your manual,

Coleman rechargable lantern Model 5327A750. Have not used it in a while have left it on charge for over 24 hours. the night light works but the main light does not go on. Replaced the bulb and still...

just read the charging instructions. Charge for 16-18 hours. If stored for more than 6 months recharge for the full 16 hours. Do not leave the lantern on after the battery has stopped, has overdischarging the battery can cause problems in recharging to a full charge. If this does happen, switch lantern to off and recharge for 40 hours.YES 40 hours. Only the LED is the only light to be used while charging. If you hane the other light on hi or low the battery does not charge.

Hope this helps

My lantern/fan/radio doesn't work when its not plugged in?

The battery probably isn't taking a charge anymore because it needs to be replaced. These batteries will sometimes last a few years but then a replacement is needed and they will likely run like new. You can check out http://www.batteryinternational.com/lantern-battery.html to find a replacement battery, or you can call 1-877-28-BATTERY if you are having difficulting finding the battery you need.
