Rhythim dull noise wshen accelerating

I have Toyota Corolla 2001, it runs great but when I accelerate I hear dull rhythmic (not very loud but mostly irritating) noise. I starts over 30 MPH and changes pattern with acceleration (goes faster). As soon as I press the brakes and decrease the speed, the noise is gone. Could anybody help me with this?

no gognads, it is rather the same when I turn the steering wheel while driving, no change at all

no, it is certainly not a metallic noise. sound is mostly dull, like when one blows over open bottle

I see that "differential diagnosis" might be a broad one. Could it be something potentially dangerous (of all items numbered)

does the noise change if u turn the steering wheel a little while driving? if it does it might be a wheel bearing

I have the same car (2001 Solara) My car is making the same sound at 30 mph, like blowing over an empty bottle, very annoying sound. Any Ideas?

The sound disappears when I let off the gas and doesn't appear when I have the car on cruise..My wheel bearings and brakes checked out fine recently but I do have a check engine light for a vsv valve evap issue..Any chance that's the problem?

Well,if it doesnt change with the wheel turned a little it might be a rear wheel bearing or even a couple of loose lugs on a wheel,or even a brake pad worn down to the rivets, can u give a better description of the noise? (metallic, dull thumping,etc...)

Rear acceleration noise

Try rear wheel bearings. The cause a roaring noise that increases with acceleration. Sounds very similar to loud road noise.
