Turn on the gas knob. Light a match and hold it above the burner at the back. Press the switch inside the oven at the front of the base and hold it in. The burner should light and after about five seconds you can release the bottom switch and the oven should stay alight.

My becko gas cooker is new and when i turn the oven on the hob ignitors keep clicking what do i do pls

So when you are turning the oven on, It is the same process as your cooktop. you turn the knob to ignite( so its clicking) and once it catches fire you back off the knob to adjust your flame. the oven is the same. its just bthat all your igniters will want to light at the same time, but gas is only being fed to the location of whatever knob your turning. omnce oven is lit, turn back the knob to dedired temp setting. hope that amsers your question. good luck. Or, if no gas is getting to the location, make sure the valve for your gas is on.

I have a Viking vgic365-4G gas range. I recently replaced the spark module, the ignitors for the oven and the griddle, and the spark ignitors for the burners. The problem I am having is only one of the...

Hello,

their is one of two things causing that,

1) the switch that supplies power to the spark module when the burner is turned on is bad...its located on the shaft of the burner valve thier is one switch for each knob so counting the oven and the burners their is 5 (the oven is different from the surface burners) to check those switches what needs to be done is remove the knobs then the face panel so ya can get to the knobs.

No is where is gets a bit complcated if ya dont follow all procedures....the knob must turned on to check so gas will be flowing and ya must light the gas using a match or raw gas will eneter the kitchen...or if possible temporarly turn off gas supply to the unit.also POWER MUST BE DISCONNECTED and then with power off and the burner lit manually once turned on ya would need to check each switch to have continuity,if any of the switches does not have continuity when measured with a ohm meter that switch will be bad

2) the igniter is cracked so power is coming from spark module yet since its cracked power is jumping out before it gets the where it lights the burners.

Need to adjust oven temperature on a Croley gas range

you shouldnt need to adjust the burners for a temp problem.
the control has a built in calibration setting and it should be described in your owners manual.
if you dont have the manual, then try to set the oven temp to max, 550, and then hold the bake button in for 10 to 30 seconds. after that it should beep and show you a 2 digit number like 00. that is the calibration mode, then you can adjust it up or down +/- 35 degrees. try to make a small adjustment first like 10 degrees and see how it bakes.
if it takes too long to bake, then use + degrees, if it is burning things then lower -10 degrees.
hope that helps you.

Doesn't get as hot as it should

the range has two thermostats one for each oven located under the oven knobs. put a meat thermometer in the oven and adjust the thermostat screw with a small flat screwdriver untill the oven turns off at the correct knob temp.
registered on the thermometer.
then adjust the knob screw on the back of the knob to match that temp setting.
clockwise is hotter counterclockwise is cooler
