SOURCE: How do I remove the bezel from my hp l1955 monitor

There usually screws hidden behind stick-on plastic covers on the front and or edges of the screen. Use a sharp point to lift off these covers to reveal the screws.
The bezel will also have plastic catches/clips that secures the bezel to the lid as well as double sided tape. Slip a thin blade between the glass screen and bezel and gently lift the bezel free. Start at a corner and gradually work along each side.
Be careful not the apply too much pressure on the glass (it is easily cracked) and be careful not to scratch the screen.

SOURCE: I have several HP L1955 and L1925 monitors do not show image

Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further.

After aprox. 2 years both HP 1955 went black. Is there a place I can get these monitors repaired?

Your local neighbourhood computer store knows where.

On the other hand, with the price of monitors lately ... versus the cost of repairs.

I have several HP L1955 and L1925 monitors do not show image

michael_b173, You will need to do some extensive reading in my fixya profile and pay a visit to the following web site:
http://www.lesliewong.us/blog/2005/05/02/hp-pavilion-f1703-flat-panel-display-blackout-solution/ ALL "cold-cathode-fluorescent-lamp" back-lit LCD monitors are the same in their basic design and operation!!!! Follow the other links you find in my fixya profile responses to other "black" or "blank n black" screen lcd monitor owners to make decision if DIY repair is option for you. Two other fixya lcd monitor tech's (buddymc and budmrtn) are also helpful. Read their stuff also!!! They also have "how-to" and lots of photos of what to look for inside monitors.
Good luck with the repairs. 12fixlouie

Hp l1955 mosfet traces lift, need diagram

I seriously doubt that HP made that monitor, it came from either a contract house or a major manufacturer. I suspect HP doesn't even have service manuals for that product either.
Maybe, maybe, you can ferret out the true maker via the FCC number which it may or may not have; I've noticed that there are a flood of various consumer and industrial items sold without the once mandatory FCC approval and consequently, no number either.
FCC ID site
Even if you can find the maker's name, they may consider the content to be proprietary; during my active years of service work, I have been turned down dozens of times when trying to buy service literature.

Hp L1955 LCD monitor

Check the capacitors on the power supply if any on the secondary side are bulged replace them all with low ESR substitutes. Panasonic FC work well.

Also check the transistors around the inverter output transformers there are two on each side. Check them with the diode function of your DMM if any measure shorted replace both in the pair. You can find these on e-bay.

That is a power board / inverter assembly getting it would be extremely hard not to mention expensive.
