I have connected Lantronix UDS1100 Device with Siemens AZL Meters. But not able to get complete data on front end.

Thank you for comments. I have checked the communication from LED and it is perfect. To elaborate my problem - I need to know what data format to be used to see the value / live data on fron end.

The UDS has the following LEDs, which help you diagnose problems.
Power LED (green)
Ethernet 10/100 Link (yellow = 10 Mb/green = 100 Mb)
Ethernet Half/Full Duplex Activity (yellow = Half Duplex/green = Full Duplex)
Diagnostic (red)
Status (green)
Simultaneously lit Diagnostic (red) and Status (green) LEDs mean something is
wrong. If the Diagnostic LED is lit or blinking, count the number of times the Status
LED blinks between its pauses. The following table explains the LED functions:

I have Lantronix-SCS400,i forget it's ip and i wanted to reset it,the reset button seems broken,is there any other way to reset it to default??

To reset the SCS to factory so you can assign a new IP, use a paper clip to depress the button inside the reset hole. Hold that button and recycle the power, continue to hold the button after power cycle for 15 seconds.

Hi. I have to configure the lantronix mss-100, bat I dont have the cable.

Hi,

Are you asking about a serial cable to connect the serial port on the MSS100 to (for instance) a Com port on a PC?

If that's the case you can use a DB9-to-DB25 null modem cable. Here's an example: http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=936&sku=03019

You will also need a DB25F/F gender changer in order to use this cable.

If the MSS100 already has an IP address that is valid on your network you can telnet to it or open it's web configuration manager in a browser to configure it.

There are video tutorials of various ways to assign an IP address to an MSS here: http://ltxfaq.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/ltxfaq.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1114

There is also a FAQ: http://ltxfaq.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/ltxfaq.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=167

Installation and configuration information is in the Installation and Getting Started chapters of the MSS User Guide, http://www.lantronix.com/pdf/MSS_UG.pdf

    UDS10 reconnection problem

Try the LS100 from www.sena.com, it has a better warranty (5yrs vs 1yr) and its about half the price of a uds-10. We've had the same experience with the four UDS-10's we have and now 3 of the four have stopped working and report the following error: "FATAL ERROR 01/Setup memory: Contact tech support". I called there tech support and the guy (Marty) actully told me that the units have exceeded their life expectency. They all failed within the first ~22 months of operation. Working in a school district we cannot afford to keep doing the same thing over and over and over again, so our next project which involves 15 building will all use the SENA LS100 product and save the district money and have way better support and warranty. Thanks goes to "tech support" person Marty at Lantronix.
