I am using Samsung SGH-E250.. Bought the cell 2 weeks back .. Am trying to Change the pin but I do not know the default pin which i should be using to change the pin..
I have a Samsung E 250, connected via Bluetooth to my PC. Until recently all was well, but the computer is now asking for the PIN to connect to the phone [Which is still the default]. I've tried 0000 as suggested and even 000000 & 00000000 I've even tried re-setting the phone, but to no avail. The phone doesn't connect to other bluetooth devices without the pin. Help suggestions please.

I have a Samsung SGH A777, bought it used and messing was guarded with a password here is what I did.....warning though this will delete anything on your phone so what you need to say put on your sim card or save to external memory. Enter exactly *2767*3855* This will take it back to factory default. Remember SAVE anything you want to keep
Try the followin steps 1. switch the phone off 2. remove the sim card and power back on 3. enter the following code *2767*3855# ( it resets password to default settings) wait then insert the sim and use your phone. remeber the password will be reseted to 00000000.
If you did not set it before, try 0000. If not try the solution I found:
step 1. -------- 1-Switch off your moblie 2-Remove the Sim and switch on the mobile at this stage mobile show the massage"Insert the SIM" 3-Enter this code : *2767*3855# let it reboot(restart) now its ready for permanent.
step 2. -------- 1-now put this code : *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (It will show in the screen like this-------- for 00000000)
2-NEXT ENTER: #7465625*638*00000000#
{Now its Permanent Unlock .... }
but b alert ur all safe data and contact will remove through this
code so wirte down your needed thigns before using this code. after using this code u can use ur SIM now.
There's good news and bad news. The good news is that you might well have forgotten that the default password on the Samsung SGH-D500 phone is 00000000 (that's eight zeroes). The bad news is that if you've changed it to something else and that's what you've forgotten, you might well need to take the phone in to a service center to have them help you break it back open.
First, here's what Samsung working with passwords recovery: Security

Press Save to lock the marked items. 3. Enter the phone password and press OK. To access a locked item, you need to enter the phone password.
If that doesn't help you, as I said, you'll need to take your phone to the local service center and ask them for help. Just a tip: bring some sort of proof of purchase or ownership so they can differentiate between you losing your password and someone else showing up with a stolen telephone.
Good luck!
