I like GOM, a free player you can download from the net (try download.com). It will play every video format I have come across.

Try downloading the GOM Media Player - I just did and the videos played perfectly

The battery compartment is located in the back of the handle. There is a small button, when pushed it allows it to be opened.

may be it is due to you have not convert the video format, i recommend you Video Download Studio to solve this question.
