Change a Yahoo Mobile Number

When you log out of your Yahoo Messenger account, messages and alerts automatically go to your mobile phone number if it is associated with your account.

You can change your Yahoo Mobile phone number if you have a new number or want to switch to a different device.

New messages and alerts will be sent to the new number you designate after the change. Changes you make to the number take effect immediately.

Click the "Start" button on your computer and hover over "All Programs."
Click "Yahoo Messenger" to open the program.

I have a yahoo account don't remember my password ive tried reseting it but it pops up to where it wants to send the information to me in a text but the cell phone number thats on there I no longer have how do I go by changing the number to my new number do I can get access to my yahoo account

1 go to options from right side top corner
2 more options under options
3 left side bottom click on accounts then click on add or edit account
4 after that a new window appear select account information now this will ask your yahoo password enter your password now
5 under contact information select update your contact information or change your account information
6 now you can see on 4th row there is a mobile, home phone etc.
7 remove your contact number there or on your right side select share with no one
8 then save your updates and log out from there.........

now no one can see your cellphone number in yahoo messenger or yahoo profile ..............................
