First,you have to go to www.sharpusa.com and look up your model number and see if there is updated firmware. If there is then download it to a flash stick then install it into your usb port and follow the directions. If your model is not onstar.gif the list PLEASE DON'T download just any firmware update.

Sharp Aquos LC60LE632U 60" TV 1080p. LCD HDTV. Great picture. Except, there is one green line, running vertical down the far right of the screen. I'm suspecting that it may be the TCON Board.
I had a similar problem with my Sharp Aquos 60" LED and it was the T-Con Board. Simple to replace and can be purchased in the neighborhood of 40.00. If you have sound and a picture, T-Con Board replacement should be your fix. Great videos on youtube if you need assistance. I would highly recommend that you watch the videos prior to proceeding. I am NOT a TV repairman, just a do-it-your-selfer....

If you have flashing lights count the number of times and see if there is a pause between flashes. Count how many flashes before each pause and you will know the code. Then we can check the code to see the problem. It could need service by a technician.

I updated software to my BD-HP22 with the US region but I use my BD-HP22 in Australia. My BD-HP22 now can't play normal DVD. I want to reverse my update. please help.
Word of warning Sharp does not prevent uploading from alternate region in error. I made this mistake and after speaking to Sharp UK cannot do anything but wait for newer version release if at all. once uploaded reversals is impossible.

Wont play burnt dvds
Hello i have the same player and i had to do a Firmware Update to update my player so it won't cause this problem (also it could play the recent new blu ray movies). Go to www.sharp.net.au for Australia or www.sharp.net.nz for New Zealand. go to Support, Downloads, put in your Model number then it should have a list of updates you can use. If it says for USB then download it to your USB and then plug it into the back of your player. Go through your operation manual to how to do Software Update, then follow the instructions. If it says for cd/dvd then burn it onto the disk first.
I hope this helps. I can play burnt dvd's on mine with no worries.
