The message symbol wont go away and there are no messages in the inbox

Envelope usually indicated a text message. Usually, if you have unread text messages your little envelope will have a number one or number two, etc in red on it.

You will need to go to your text message icon to open your text message screen.. It might be called *Inbox* but it's not email only text or SMS messages.

You need to check the settings then .....

Message > Menu > Message Setup. Fill in the required and you should be away.

Master Clear and Master Rest get rid of all your pictures, ringtones, videos and address book
so beware of this !

it may actually be the msg for the outbox msg which has failed to be sent try opening the outbox and sent folders also and if there are any msgs in the outbox then either copy them to drafts folder or delete them and the msg box will be gone

Hi , Go to the Meaages or SMS menu and check inbox.

Your inbox could be full, try deleting some of you text messages.

do master reset on the phone

First try to clear your un needed texts, then check your multimedia messages.

have you tried a hard reset? remove the battery, let it sit for a minute and start it up again.

check your inbox and then mms messages in box
it has a separate area so to speak

try turning your phone on and off again, hopefully, it might work! it could also be that you have unsent messages in your outbox. goodluck if not, you should probably taked it back.
