My face plate was stolen out of my truck. Thr operateing instructions say cdx-gt200 and cdx-gt20w. How do i determine the proper model without the face plate and can I order a replacement?

Remove the stereo from your truck. underneath the head unit itself WILL have a model number along with serial number, wiring instructions, etc............. but be warned that Sony WILL charge top dollar for the faceplate, which in turn will have them sayin somethin like "We recommend buying a new unit as the faceplate will cost nearly the same price as a new unit". In saying that, ALL Sony car stereo wiring looms fit each other, so no need for reinstalling the wires. so if u can get a cheap one without loom, then you'll be fine

Sony is no longer produceing my model of sterio. I will have to purchase a new one#$*! thank u sony support desk for the good news.
