They sell a installation kit so you dont have to cut any wires. You unplug the factory unit install the proper plug into the new unit and factory harness and your done.

SOURCE: audio wiring problem

Constant 12V+ Blue/Yellow
Switched 12V+ Gray
Ground Brown (or your own wire to a metal grounding point)
Illumination Green
Antenna Trigger Black/Red

Front Speakers 4" Dash
Left Front (+) Pink
Left Front (-) Purple
Right Front (+) Green
Right Front (-) Blue

Rear Speakers 5 1/4" Rear Deck
Left Rear (+) Black
Left Rear (-) Yellow
Right Rear (+) Red
Right Rear (-) White

I a '83 camry, there are 2 seperate plugs that go into a factory radio.
One for Power/and front speakers, and the other for rear speakers.

Sounds as if you are missing part of the harness for the rear speakers (or it is shoved in the back of the dash unused by the previous install). If there is not an un-cut plug in the dash - your only course of action would be to run your own set of speaker wire to the rear.

See this picture... these are the plugs that should go into your factory radio....

Metra kit 71-1938 will go from your factory wiring directly into your factory radio.

SOURCE: 1995 nissan pathfinder xe stereo wire color codes

I think the best thing to do is to buy an adapter from your local audio store or wal-mart. The adapter should plug right into the original harness and come with the color codes for the new wiring to your stereo. That's what I usually do when replacing one and it makes it very easy!

Hi I'm looking stereo wiring diagram for nissan micra s 2003 to connect new market stereo harness

Hi, you can usually buy a stereo wiring harness that plugs right into your car and they are color coded to match the standard aftermarket wire radio harness, all you do is take the plug from your new stereo and match the wires with the adapter, just connect the matching wire colors. it's super easy and well worth the $15-20, and you don't have to cut up your factory harness.
good luck!

Im in great need for the color coded wires for the factory stereo, I just bought the car and the person who had it before me, ripped out the stereo and cut off the wiring harness before the bank...

ok there should be 8 speaker wires, red wire +, a yellow wire acc(i think its called) and a black wire -, the after market stereo will come with a harness and it will be labled to make it easy, with car speakers it dosent watter what why you put the wires on the same speaker as they are both positives, if there are any left over on your stock loom I would not worry thats all you need. Just ask me if you need any more help

I have a pioneer DEH-1200 MP and i cant get any sound out of any of the speakers.the car is a 1995 chrysler sebring lxi 2 door.if you could send me a wiring diagram on how it should look that would be...

OK, if you are trying to put an aftermarket DEH-1200 MP radio into your car, they sell the radio adapter wires and plugs that will actually tell you what leads to connect to or speakers, power, and antenna actuator, etc.

You don't need a schematic to use this product, it comes with color coded wires with labels on them to tell guide you into a proper installation.

Try Best Buy for a wide selection of these adapters and wiring harnesses specifically made for aftermarket radios.

If they don't have it, they can order it.

You may, alternatively, try Ebay.com where they may have the product you are looking for.

Good luck on this.

2002 chevy tahoe car stereo wiring schematics (color codes). The color code that was given to me, doesn't even have the same colors on my wire harness.

Everybody's got it wrong including the Mitchell manuals everything is reversed example left front door the gray is hot the brown is negative right front door dark green is hot light green is negative can't imagine how many cars have been screwed up because of this you can easily checked by looking at the old speakers and checking the tweeters if they have them they are labeled positive and negative take a 9-volt battery pop one of the speakers see which way it goes should pop out make sure that you wire the new speakers the same way oh my God there's so many of these on the market I can't imagine how many people have wired their stereos in reverse
