It won't weather untell u get that light to go out that means it not shuting off the theft try changing the bat in the remote if that don't work u got to have the theft looked at u might have to get a new one
It is probably water has gotten into one of the sensors and needs be disconnected and dried out. the only way to distinguish which sensor is to have a tech connect a diagnostic meter to the vehicle.
replace the small silver can in the fuse compartment (flasher) then if the canceling lever still stays on after a turn you must remove the steering wheel and replace the canceling cam

i went to advance auto and they pulled the check engine light code and they said it was just wet electrical equipment from all the rain we have had and that it would dry out in a couple of drives so they reset the code and told me to come back in if it comes back on.
